The following interview was conducted over email, and we unfortunately didn’t have the chance to meet in person. All answers were provided by Shadow, Delta Force Boosting Game Director at Team Jade.
The biggest challenge for us was reimagining Delta Force for controller input. We put a lot of effort into adjusting the UX to feel intuitive and easy to navigate, while remaining fair for both controller and mouse/keyboard players. Additionally, working on performance optimization to ensure a seamless experience with large-scale 32v32 combat was crucial.
We definitely spent a lot of time optimizing the controls for the controller. Each weapon in Delta Force was fine-tuned to ensure it felt right while using a controller, striking a balance between intuitive gameplay and PvP fairness. As for mouse and keyboard support, we currently have no plans to implement this on consoles.
We are committed to providing a balanced and fair gameplay experience, and as part of this, we are taking steps to block any hardware adapters that allow the use of a mouse and keyboard on consoles.
We have dedicated resources focused on preventing cheating across all platforms. We utilize a combination of advanced anti-cheat systems and constant monitoring to detect and address any cheating issues. Additionally, we maintain open communication with our community to gather reports and let players know the status of Delta Force’s anti-cheating efforts.
Of course, Delta Force Boost for sale players can absolutely choose to opt out. We believe in giving players control over their experience, and allowing them to choose whether they want to play with or against players from other platforms is important.
